The purpose of this page is simple: if you have an idea on how many of a vehicle is still registered, you may have an idea of how rare parts are getting. While it may be obvious that parts for specialty models (e.g. the LTD) are rare, getting general ideas for as many other trim levels using public information is the next logical step, as every model will get rarer simply through the passage of time. As model numbers for the base model Falcon reduce even simple parts will increase in price. Conversely, by knowing a certain model is very common on the road, this information can be used to avoid artificially inflated pricing for parts

This list is inaccurate for discerning specific trim models of Falcon e.g. S, SR, Forte, XR*. This is due to them all sharing the Falcon model name. Fairmont, Fairlane, LTD, and Futura are exempt from this issue in Australian data, and only LTD is exempt from this issue in New Zealand data.
This doesn't necessarily denote how many of each model are left, but rather how many are actively registered to be driven on Australian or New Zealand roads.
(Australian Data only) Due to overlapping manufacture months of the EF and BA model Falcons and insufficient information, numbers for 1998 and 2002 models are likely inaccurate. In an attempt for accuracy, these numbers are calculated based on the months of the year, e.g. 1998 numbers are calculated to 25% as the AU was only sold from September to December that year (1/4 of the months).
New Zealand data is much more likely to be accurate, but is based heavily on engine number calculation. As a result there is likely a small margin of error as exact months of manufacture are not heavily cited
New Zealand data has been modified from its source for this page, both to make it easier to implement in this page, and because the source file was 1.5GB.
